Open defecation is not just a health issue; it is a socio-economic challenge that affects the well-being and dignity of millions of people in rural and marginalized communities. Lack of access to sanitation facilities leads to widespread diseases, contaminates water sources, and hampers community growth.

Astro Light Care Foundation advocates for sustainable solutions by raising awareness, educating communities, and building public sanitation facilities funded through waste recycling projects. By transforming waste into valuable resources, we not only tackle environmental issues but also create self-sustaining solutions for improved sanitation.

Our efforts are focused on 6 key areas:

1. 1. Open Defecation Awareness: Educate communities on the health and environmental dangers of open defecation, creating widespread awareness that drives behavioral change.
   2. Public Sanitation Facilities: Establish community toilets and handwashing stations to provide safe and accessible sanitation for all.
   3. Waste-to-Wealth Recycling Initiatives: Promote recycling programs that turn waste into revenue, which is reinvested into building and maintaining public sanitation facilities.
   4. Environmental Health Education: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and campaigns focused on the importance of sanitation, waste management, and environmental stewardship in improving public health.
   5. Community Engagement and Empowerment: Foster community ownership of sanitation projects, empowering locals to maintain and manage facilities sustainably.
