Program Title: Supporting Hands: Widow Empowerment and Awareness Initiative
Program Description:
The Supporting Hands initiative is a community-centered empowerment program designed to bring immediate relief and support to widows in Kogi Central. In this first phase, we aim to distribute 100 pieces of quality women’s clothing along with a cash gift of 5,000 naira and 2kg bagged of rice to each recipient, reaching 100 widows in need this December period in Okene Central.
This program not only offers a helping hand to vulnerable community members but also serves to introduce and build awareness of Astro Light Care Foundation and its mission to uplift underserved communities.
By extending both practical and financial support, we seek to foster a sense of solidarity and compassion, laying the foundation for further impactful programs to come.
